"Shloiderform" is a piece for computer with a Max/MSP-software and sound-samples from human voices (mainly). There is no multitrack-technique in this recording. The piece was played "live" (and recorded immediately) by typing on the keyboard of the computer. Typing means in this case: controlling speed and playback-direction of the sound-samples and further parameters of the software by typing the letters and numbers on the computer keyboard. - To find out what "happens" in this piece there is a helpful quotation from Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon": "There is someone in my head but it's not me ..." (and there is counting someone something all the time). Do you know Arithmomania? - Shloiderform was selected in 2003 for the 12th Annual Florida Electroacoustic Music Festival at the University of Florida in Gainesville/FL (USA).

Ein Stück für Computer mit Max/MSP-Software und Klang-Material von (überwiegend) menschlichen Stimmen. Es kommt keine Mehrspur-Technik bei dieser Aufnahme zum Einsatz. Das Stück wurde "live" auf der Tastatur des Computers gespielt und dabei zugleich aufgezeichnet. "Spiel auf der Tastatur des Computers" bedeutet in diesem Fall: Steuerung von Geschwindigkeit und Abspiel-Richtung (vorwärts/rückwärts) der verschiedenen Klang-Materialien und weiterer Parameter der Software durch Drücken der Buchstaben- und Zahlen-Tasten auf der Tastatur des Computers: musizieren in Form und im Gestus des Schreibmaschineschreibens. - Um herauszufinden was in diesem Stück "geschieht", könnte ein Zitat aus "Dark Side of the Moon" von Pink Floyd hilfreich sein: "Da ist jemand in meinem Kopf, aber ich bin es nicht ..." (und da zählt andauernd irgendjemand irgendetwas).
